HoneyGroveMC is built on trust and respect.

We don't need 50 rules. We need a few clear principles and a community that understands them. If you're here to play fair, be respectful, and contribute positively, you'll do great.

1

Be Respectful

Treat other players the way you'd want to be treated. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or targeted toxicity. Disagreements happen — handle them like adults.

This means: No slurs, no bigotry, no personal attacks. Banter is fine. Being cruel isn't.
2

No Cheating or Exploiting

No hacked clients, x-ray, duplication exploits, or anything that gives you an unfair advantage. Quality-of-life mods (minimap, inventory tweaks, shaders) are fine.

If you find a bug or exploit, report it. Don't abuse it.

Not allowed: X-ray, fly hacks, kill aura, auto-clickers, duplication glitches, chunk loaders that bypass limits.
3

Keep Chat Appropriate

No spam, no advertising other servers, no excessive caps or flooding. Keep conversations reasonable. NSFW content, political arguments, and sensitive topics aren't for global chat.

Use common sense: If you wouldn't say it in a public place with strangers, don't say it in chat.
4

Respect Server Resources

Don't build lag machines, create excessive entities, or intentionally harm server performance. We want the server to run smoothly for everyone.

Examples: Giant redstone clocks, thousands of item frames, massive mob farms that destroy TPS — talk to staff before building industrial-scale projects.

How Rules Are Enforced

We're not looking to ban people. We want to help players understand expectations and fix issues before they escalate.

Typical enforcement process:

Every case is reviewed by staff. Context matters. If you think a punishment was unfair, you can appeal in Discord.

The goal is simple: Create a space where people feel safe building long-term. If you're here to contribute positively and respect others, you'll have a great time.
